I Cherchi al Poetto welcomes its customers in a charming seaside location with outdoor and indoor seating.

In 1997, our parents took over a small grocery shop. In a time that was beginning to be dominated by large shopping centres, we soon decided to specialise in local, national and international culinary excellence. So began an adventure that took our family business from a small neighbourhood shop to awards from Slow Food and Gambero Rosso.

Pride, passion, determination, and a lot (lots) of commitment have accompanied us on a journey to discover new products or to rediscover great traditional products. This is how the natural extension of our passion for raw materials became our restaurant on the seafront, which boasts outdoor and indoor tables.

Here, the cuisine has no secrets: only excellent raw materials on a menu that is simple yet refined. When presenting our dishes, we always like to quote Travelling Without Moving, the title of a Jamiroquai album. Savouring cheese, sampling wine or enjoying homemade pasta is, in fact, just like travelling, because some foods produced with art and care carry a piece of baggage of distant and unusual flavours, aromas and fragrances. They are true experiences that go beyond simply eating. This is our approach.
